This 75 member band is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization. The band was formed in 1998 for the purpose of providing a means whereby musicians may assemble and play for their mutual enjoyment and to provide concert band music for free public concerts & other special occasions.
Active Membership in the band is open to adult brass, woodwind, and percussion instrumentalists who have had at least high school concert band experience. Exceptional high school students may apply for Associate Membership upon recommendation of their school Bandmaster.
Rehearsals are held every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 at Massaponax High School, Route 1, Spotsylvania.
A copy of Band By-Laws and Attendance Policy can be forwarded by e-mail to any interested party by just requesting same from the band President.
